Are you a driven Mechanical Project Manager or experienced Project Engineer looking to step up and take on a new challenge? We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading M&E contractors for a major data centre project in London – and prior data centre experience is not required.

This is a unique opportunity to join a top-tier MEP specialist delivering some of the most complex, high-value engineering projects in the UK and Europe.

The Opportunity

Join a fast-growing team on a mission-critical data centre build in West London. You’ll take ownership of mechanical packages from early design coordination through to commissioning and handover. If you have a solid grounding in mechanical engineering and large-scale MEP projects, this is your chance to work on one of the most in-demand sectors in construction — with full support and mentorship to get up to speed.

Key Responsibilities

*

Manage mechanical packages from design coordination through to installation and commissioning

*

Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house teams

*

Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met

*

Coordinate technical submittals, drawings, and compliance documentation

*

Drive health, safety, and environmental standards on-site

*

Report on progress, procurement, and technical issues

Experience & Qualifications

*

Degree, HND, HNC, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering

*

3–5 years’ experience in MEP contracting (commercial, healthcare, or lab sector ideal)

*

Excellent knowledge of building services systems and installation processes

*

Confident communicator with strong coordination skills

*

Proactive and detail-oriented with a passion for high-quality delivery
