Mechanical Project Manager

Location: London (Holborn office + site visits)

Mechanical Project Manager required to deliver commercial MEP projects across London including energy centres, decarbonisation schemes and building services installations. The role involves managing multiple projects and coordinating multidisciplinary delivery teams.

The Role

An established energy and infrastructure contractor is seeking a mechanically biased Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of projects across London.

Projects are varied and typically include energy centres, decarbonisation upgrades to commercial buildings, and full MEP installations. While the successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background, the role involves managing the delivery of complete MEP packages.

Working between the Holborn office and project sites, you will oversee project delivery teams including Site Managers, Engineers and commercial staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of multiple commercial MEP projects
• Plan, execute and deliver projects to programme and budget
• Coordinate project teams, subcontractors and consultants
• Maintain and review construction programmes
• Attend site and client meetings across London
• Produce project and contract status reports
• Manage commercial performance alongside QS teams
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance
• Oversee quality control throughout project lifecycle
• Support development of client relationships and future work

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager
• Mechanical bias within building services or energy projects
• Experience delivering commercial or industrial MEP installations
• Ability to manage multiple projects and delivery teams
• Strong programme and stakeholder management skills
• SMSTS, IOSH or similar H&S qualification desirable
