The Client and Project Info:

My client is a leading M&E Contractor who are currently recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee a mixed-use programme in Oxford, covering both residential and commercial sites. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor delivering high-quality mechanical packages across multiple phases.

Mechanical Project Manager Responsibilities:

Reporting to and working closely with the Senior Project Manager and Operations Team.

*

Managing the mechanical delivery across mixed residential and commercial schemes.

*

Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.

*

Overseeing mechanical installation, commissioning, and quality assurance.

*

Managing project timelines, budgets, and cost control measures.

*

Liaising with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.

*

Chairing progress meetings and producing regular project reports.

*

Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health & safety and company standards.

Mechanical Project Manager Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within M&E contracting.

*

Experience working on mixed-use, residential, or commercial projects.

*

Strong technical understanding of mechanical building services.

*

Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

*

Ability to manage multiple workstreams across varying site environments.

*

Relevant mechanical qualifications or trade background preferred.
