Mechanical Project Manager Mechanical Building Services | Hampshire | £65,000 £80,000 + Car or Car Allowance + BonusThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a highly respected M&E Building Services contractor delivering mechanical installations across a wide range of commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and fit-out projects.The company has built a strong reputation for delivering technically complex mechanical building services installations including plantrooms, heating and chilled water systems, ventilation, pipework, public health systems, and HVAC services.With a strong pipeline of projects and continued business growth, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to support the delivery of both small works and larger multi-million pound mechanical installations.The RoleSalary is negotiable depending on experience within the advertised range.As Mechanical Project Manager you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion.Projects range from small works through to larger multi-million pound mechanical building services installations across the South Coast and surrounding areas.You will manage projects from contract award through procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.The successful candidate will be comfortable taking ownership of project programmes, coordinating technical submissions, and managing the contractual and commercial aspects of mechanical project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging mechanical building services projects for an M&E contractor from pre-construction through to completionProducing and maintaining project programmes, monitoring progress against programme milestones and ensuring works are delivered in line with agreed timelinesTaking ownership of technical submissions and coordinating mechanical design information to ensure compliance with consultant specifications and project requirementsProcurement of mechanical plant, materials, and subcontract packagesManaging mechanical building services installations including plantrooms, heating systems, chilled water systems, ventilation, pipework, public health systems, and HVAC servicesCoordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliersAttending client meetings and maintaining strong stakeholder relationshipsSupporting the commercial team and directors with variations, valuations, cost reporting, and final accountsEnsuring projects are delivered in line with all health and safety regulationsAbout YouProven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, Senior Mechanical Project Manager, or Mechanical Contracts Manager within Mechanical Building Services or an M&E contractor environmentStrong experience delivering mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handoverExperience producing and managing project programmes and coordinating technical submissionsCommercially astute and confident managing contractual and commercial aspects of project deliveryStrong leadership, organisational, and client-facing communication skillsThis role would suit candidates currently working as: Mechanical Project Manager, Senior Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Contracts Manager, M&E Project Manager, Building Services Project Manager, HVAC Project Manager.Remuneration Package Mechanical Project Manager£65,000 £80,000Company Car or Car AllowanceCompany BonusCompany Laptop and MobilePensionCareer ProgressionThis role offers long-term stability and the opportunity to deliver technically strong mechanical building services projects within a well-established and respected contractor environment.Next StepsPlease apply online today, or contact Rob at David Leslie Ltd for an informal and confidential discussion.About David Leslie LtdDavid Leslie Ltd is a family-run construction recruitment consultancy with over 20 years experience connecting professionals and employers across the UK.
