We are currently working with a well-established building services contractor who is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team in the North East.


The contractor specialises in Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical services, delivering high-quality building services solutions across a range of commercial projects. They are known for their professional approach, strong technical expertise, and commitment to delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.


This is a full-time role managing mechanical building services projects from inception through to completion, ensuring successful delivery in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end management of mechanical building services projects
  • Overseeing mechanical installations on commercial projects
  • Managing procurement processes and supply chain coordination
  • Budget management and financial control of projects
  • Ensuring delivery in line with programme requirements and quality standards
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements


Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Building Services Engineering
  • Proven experience managing mechanical services installations on commercial projects
  • Strong procurement and resource management skills
  • Experience with project budgeting and financial oversight
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Strong understanding of health & safety compliance
  • Degree in Building Services Engineering or related field (preferred)
