Mechanical Project Manager | M&E Building Services | Bournemouth | £50,000£62,000 + Car/Allowance This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Mechanical Project Manager looking to step up, or a Junior Project Manager seeking further development, to join a respected M&E Building Services contractor delivering projects from £100k to £2m.
About the Company This is a well-established and growing M&E Building Services contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical installations across the commercial, healthcare, and residential sectors. The business is known for its supportive and collaborative culture, offering genuine opportunities for development and progression into senior roles.
The Role You will be involved in the delivery of mechanical building services projects from initial handover through to completion, working closely with senior project managers and directors.
Projects are typically located across the South Coast and London, covering both refurbishment and new build works. Mechanical packages include plantroom installations, HVAC systems, pipework, and public health services.
This role offers a clear pathway into a fully-fledged Project Manager position, with increasing responsibility as your experience develops.
Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of mechanical projects from pre-construction through to handover
Assist with programme coordination and ensure works progress to schedule
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities
Assist with procurement and material management
Support commercial elements including variations and cost awareness
Attend site and client meetings
Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality
Requirements Currently working as a Mechanical Supervisor, Mechanical Site Manager, or Junior Mechanical Project Manager
Strong understanding of mechanical building services (HVAC, pipework, plantrooms, public health)
Experience working within commercial or similar project environments
Keen to step into or further develop within a Project Manager role
Stable work history demonstrating commitment and reliability
Strong communication and organisational skills
