Mechanical Project Manager

MK-Search are currently working with a well respected £250m turnover M&E contractor with a strong presence across sectors who are looking to engage with a mechanical project manager to deliver a notable £18m M&E healthcare refurb and decarbonisation project in West London. Reporting to a project director, you will iniitially shadow an existing project manager, before they move and you are left to act as mechanical lead to close out the remaining 8 months of the scheme to PC.
Duties:
* Lead team meetings to engage, motivate, and improve performance.
* Report aspects of the project to clients, Directors, and any other relevant stakeholder.
* Liaise with Design & Coordination to ensure the delivery of design/working drawings capture any additional cost, programme delay, or external influence that may affect production. Delegate activities within the project team, while building strong working relationships.
* Management of the procurement process.
* Be an advocate for best-practice health and safety.
Sign off to pay an attractive day rate with an very busy order book of projects across the business and a potential chance to move onto a new scheme for a long term contract extension after the initial 8 months...
