Mechanical Repairs Technician - 8 Positions Available?? Titchfield Long-Term PAYE Contract (to December 2026)Following a recent ramp-up, we are recruiting 6 Mechanical Repairs Technicians and 2 Repairs Testers to join our aerospace client in Titchfield. With a transition to a brand-new, purpose-built facility underway, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and highly skilled team.These roles are long-term PAYE contracts running until December 2026, with strong potential for extension.What You'll Do* Test, diagnose and validate mechanical, electrical and pump units * Strip and rebuild components to approved aerospace standards * Operate test rigs and diagnostic equipment * Record accurate test data (manual and electronic) * Support continuous improvement activities * Collaborate with engineers and technicians * Identify and resolve complex technical faults using a hands-on approachWhat We're Looking ForEssential: * Experience in testing and fault diagnosis * Strong mechanical and electrical testing capability * Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret technical data * Practical experience with component adjustment or fine machiningDesirable: * Aerospace, MOD or other high-integrity repairs experience * Experience with hydraulic or rotating equipment * Familiarity with motors, pumps, generators or electro-mechanical unitsQualifications: * BTEC Level 2/3 in Engineering (or equivalent) * City & Guilds / National Certificate beneficialHours & Benefits37 hours per week Mon-Thu: 07:30-16:15 Fri: 07:30-11:3033 days paid annual leave (or holiday pay rolled into rate) Must be eligible to live and work in the UK (ITAR restrictions)PAYE Contract RatesCurrent Rates Basic: £18.72 PAYE | £21.44 PAYE inc. holiday Overtime: £28.08 PAYE | £32.16 PAYE inc. holiday Sundays: £37.44 PAYE | £42.88 PAYE inc. holidayAfter 12 Weeks Basic: £19.29 PAYE | £22.09 PAYE inc. holiday Overtime: £28.93 PAYE | £33.14 PAYE inc. holiday Sundays: £38.58 PAYE | £44.18 PAYE inc. holidayOvertime* After 37 hours and Saturdays: x1.5 * Sundays and bank holidays: x2Interested?If you're looking to progress your career within high-integrity aerospace repairs, this is a great opportunity to join a thriving and expanding facility.
