Mechanical Shift Engineer Continental Days & Nights - Building Services Canary Wharf, East London £50,000 + PackageAn exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in the heart of Canary Wharf has arisen!Joselyn Search are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Shift Engineer to work as part of an engineering team and be based at a large multi-tenanted commercial office building in Canary Wharf. The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance within a large commercial building environment, have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance with a proven track record in commercial building services.This position would be ideal for a Mechanical Shift Engineer currently in a similar position, in return the company are offering a competitive salary up £50,000 with a potential route into further career progression.Key duties & ResponsibilitiesCarry out all aspects of mechanical maintenance activities across mechanical plant and systemsHands-on PPM and reactive maintenanceCommercial heating systemsAHUs, FCUs, and associated HVAC equipment.Carry out system fault-finding and diagnosticsLiaise directly with the client's estates teams to ensure maintenance activities are alignedMonitor mechanical plantPumps, Motors, Seals, BearingsAir Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etcMonitor the BMS systemsSupervise contractors and assist with minor project works or installationsMaintain clear documentation, logbooks, and recordsHours of Work & Package InfoShift Engineer Continental Shift Pattern Days & Nights Basic Salary of up to £50,00025 days holiday + Bank HolidaysRequirementsMechanical qualifications - NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 & 3JBRP1_UKTJ
