The work is part of a wider programme to modernise the Barrow-in-Furness site so it can support future submarine production commitments. It is secure, strategically important and offers genuine long-term stability.The team is delivering a multi-disciplinary M&E package worth around £10 million for this phase with more work expected to follow.
