Are you a technical leader with a hands-on approach and a background in industrial pumps and motors? We are representing a well-established premier Industrial Mechanical and Electrical Engineering firm in Essex who are seeking a Site Mechanical Manager to bridge the gap between office-based strategy and site-based execution.

The Opportunity

This is a pivotal role where you will manage a dedicated team of Mechanical Engineers servicing critical infrastructure, including 3-phase motors, fan units, and complex water pump systems.
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
\n
\n
\nTeam Leadership: Manage, recruit, and handle the technical development and appraisals of site engineers.
\n
\nSite Management: Conduct site visits to assess customer requirements and troubleshoot technical issues.
\n
\nCommercial Oversight: Produce accurate quotations and maintain proactive communication with clients regarding project progress.
\n
\nSafety First: Ensure all works strictly adhere to Health and Safety requirements and Mechanical Safe Systems of Work.

Requirements
\n
\n
\n
\nExperience: Minimum of 5 years in Mechanical Engineering with previous experience in a leadership or management role.
\n
\nTechnical Expertise: Strong understanding of industrial pumps and motors; ideally trained with an electrical bias.
\n
\nQualifications: Full driving licence is essential. Candidates who are both electrically and mechanically qualified are highly .
\n
\nSoft Skills: A self-starter with excellent time management, professional communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
