About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical installations on residential construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor delivering high-quality housing developments.

You will be responsible for managing mechanical trades on-site, ensuring all works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, heating, and ventilation
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and direct labour on-site
• Ensure all work complies with current building regulations and health & safety standards
• Monitor progress against programme and report to senior management
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control
• Resolve technical and site issues efficiently
• Liaise with site managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within residential construction
• Strong background in plumbing, heating, or HVAC systems
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Good knowledge of UK building regulations and H&S requirements
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification (preferred)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
