Mechanical Supervisor London (Commercial Fit-Out Projects) £275 per day (CIS or Ltd - Outside IR35) An established and growing M&E contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee multiple fast-track commercial fit-out projects across London. Operating for over 5 years, the business has built a strong reputation in the market and is currently experiencing sustained growth, supported by a healthy order book and a clear pipeline of work. Role Overview You will be responsible for supervising mechanical installations across 2-3 concurrent projects, with a combined value of approximately £500k. Working alongside a Project Manager who will not be site-based full-time, this role requires someone confident in working independently and taking ownership of site activities. Key Responsibilities Supervise mechanical installations across multiple fast-track fit-out projects Manage subcontractors and ensure works are delivered in line with programme Operate independently on site while maintaining regular communication with the Project Manager Ensure installations meet drawings, specifications, and quality standards Monitor and enforce health & safety compliance Coordinate with other trades and site teams Support commissioning and project handover Experience & Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within the UK M&E sector Experience delivering commercial fit-out projects Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Confident working independently with limited day-to-day oversight Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems Skills Strong organisational and coordination ability Good communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, programme-driven environment High attention to detail and quality The Opportunity This is a great opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of work and a supportive senior leadership team.
