Brief

Mechanical Supervisor needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Glasgow who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Mechanical Supervisor that takes pride in their work.

The successful candidate must have successfully completed a recognised Mechanical apprenticeship and have previous experience in a similar role carrying out mechanical maintenance duties.

If you have hospital maintenance experience that will be a bonus!

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum 24 day's holiday Variable annual bonus based 5-15% Pension Plan Career Progression

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Mechanical Supervisor will include:

Supervise and execute mechanical maintenance and minor works, including pressure systems, HVAC, water systems, medical gases, and fabric repair. Respond swiftly and efficiently to unplanned/emergency tasks to maintain service continuity and avoid financial penalties. Manage planned preventative maintenance schedules and update records accordingly. Control and issue shift rotas and coordinate out-of-hours (OOH) service cover. Review risk assessments and method statements, issuing Permits-to-Work when required.
