True are partnering with a leading international M&E contractor specialising in mission-critical environments across the UK and Europe. With a strong reputation for delivering large-scale data centre, life sciences and critical infrastructure projects, they’re now looking to appoint a Mechanical Technical Services Manager to support the delivery of a major data centre package Canary Wharf.
As Mechanical Technical Services Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of complex mechanical systems, overseeing installations across packaged plantrooms, chillers, cooling systems, pipework, plumbing and HVAC services. Working closely with project delivery teams on site, you’ll ensure installations are progressing safely, efficiently and in line with programme and quality expectations.

Mechanical Technical Services Manager Package:
* £70,000 - £77,000 basic salary (DOE)
* £5,000 travel allowance / expenses
* Long-term pipeline of large-scale mission-critical projects

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee installation and delivery of full mechanical packages on site
* Manage systems including plantrooms, chillers, HVAC, cooling, pipework and plumbing
* Monitor progress, quality, programme and technical compliance across installations
* Coordinate subcontractors and support project delivery teams on site
* Assist with commissioning, testing and handover processes
* Review technical issues and support resolution throughout delivery
* Support financial tracking and project reporting where required
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 3 years’ data centre experience within M&E or mission-critical environments
* Strong mechanical knowledge across HVAC, cooling and pipework systems
* Experience overseeing large-scale mechanical installations on live projects
* Ability to work autonomously within fast-paced site environments
* Strong organisational and communication skills
