As part of their ongoing growth, they now have an opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to support the Maintenance Team.
THE ROLE:
Supporting the Engineering team with "Planned Maintenance" activities to ensure the continuous availability of the extrusion machinery and processes, duties will include:-
* Lubrication schedules
* General servicing
* Trouble-shooting
* First-Line Maintenance and minor repairs
* Creation of snag lists for hand-over to Engineers
* Improving processes.
THE CANDIDATE:
* Previous experience in a “Mechanical” role, servicing, maintaining or carrying out basic repairs
* Relevant qualifications would be a benefit, but transferable skill set is more important.
* General duties can be trained, but applicants will need some abilities and knowledge around mechanical systems and use of hand-tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills along with attention to detail and pride in their work.
* Strong communication and reporting skills
