Job Description

About the Role:

Contract Duration: 12 months

Location: Hemel, 1 or 2 days on site per week

We are seeking a hands-on Medical Writer to support the development and integration of medical information systems within the Specialty & Primary Care (SPC) business unit. This role will focus on creating and converting standard response documents for a diverse product portfolio, including primary care medications and a newly acquired cardiovascular product.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, self-sufficient writer, even early in their career, to contribute to a high-impact project in a non-promotional, scientifically driven environment. You’ll be working with pre-existing templates and supported by tools for literature searching and generative AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and adapt standard and new medical information response documents using an existing template.
  • Conduct literature searches and leverage AI tools to support evidence-based content development.
  • Maintain fair and balanced scientific content to support clinician decision-making.
  • Collaborate virtually with teams in the UK and Switzerland.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong scientific writing skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in medical information, medical writing, or related areas; industry exposure preferred.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic areas such as cardiovascular, endocrinology, or infectives is a plus.
  • Experience with generative AI tools and literature search platforms is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus).
  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Pharmacology, Biomedical Sciences, etc.) is required.
