The Propertys A non-branded property Part of a company that is looking to develop Offering 60 plus bedrooms and 6 indoor Meeting & Event rooms plus outdoor Marquees etc Excellent meeting and event space Great management team that will support You Benefits you will receive as Meetings and Events Sales Manager A base salary of £34,000 (dependent on experience) Bonus Scheme 28 holiday days inc. bank holidays (increasing with service) Pension 45p mileage Free car parking Group discounts The Meeting and Events Sales Manager will Report to the General Managers and have a dotted line to the Head of Sales for support Manage and drive sales strategy Happy with a 50/50 split of M&E sales office management and sales Be commercially astute, have an understanding of P&L and Budgets The business mix is from predominantly Corporate and MICE, knowledge of other sectors would be an asset eg Associations etc Be able to "Place Your Stamp" on the role, maybe look at aspects of the role from a different angle As Meeting and Events Sales Manager you will have Experience of being a Meeting and Events Sales Manager, Events Manager or a Sales Manager etc High standards, a can-do attitude, be results driven and have excellent attention to detail. A strong commercial outlook The flexibility to visit clients, when necessary Be tenacious, self-motivated, proactive, can-do attitude Excellent customer care, communication, account management and negotiation skills.
