A progressive and inclusive SEN school in Reading is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term position ideal for graduates or individuals looking to build experience in mental health, psychology, or education.
The school supports pupils aged 5-16 with SEMH needs, Autism, ADHD, anxiety, and trauma-related challenges. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide consistent support to help pupils regulate emotions, build resilience, and engage positively in learning.

* Role: Mental Health Support Worker
* Location: Reading
* Salary: £89-£100 per day
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
* Start Date: ASAP
* Ideal for: Psychology, Counselling, Criminology graduates or aspiring Therapists, Social Workers, or Teachers
In this Mental Health Support Worker role, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group emotional support
* Implement behaviour and therapeutic strategies
* Support students with emotional regulation and coping skills
* Assist teachers in creating a calm and structured classroom
* Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
