The Role As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant , you will: Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis Assist with emotional regulation and coping strategies Help manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour Encourage positive social interaction and resilience Support students in accessing learning within the classroom Work closely with safeguarding leads, SENCOs, and external mental health professionals This Mental Health Teaching Assistant role requires empathy, patience, and strong communication skills.
