MEP BIM Technician / Coordinator

Digital Engineering Works (DEW) is a specialist BIM and digital delivery consultancy based in the North West. We work with main contractors, consultants, and clients across the UK to deliver high-quality, well-coordinated MEP models, drawings, and data-rich BIM outputs. Our focus is on collaboration, accuracy, and efficiency using digital tools to improve how projects are delivered.
We re now looking for a talented MEP BIM Technician / Coordinator to join our team in Liverpool (hybrid working). We are open to all levels of experience , from Junior through to Senior, and will tailor the role to suit the right candidate.
You ll work on a variety of interesting projects, helping deliver high-quality, well-coordinated Revit models and drawing packages for MEP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Model and coordinate MEP (mechanical, electrical, public health) services using Revit
- Prepare drawing packages for design, tender and construction
- Support or lead clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks
- Attend internal and client coordination meetings (hybrid/remote/inperson as needed)
- Assist with model QA, BIM deliverables (IFC, COBie), and project standards

- New to the industry with 1 2 years' experience in Revit and keen to grow,
- Confident producing coordinated models and looking to step up,
- Or a seasoned technician ready to lead on project coordination and client meetings
we want to hear from you.
What We re Looking For
- Revit MEP experience (essential)
- Working knowledge of Navisworks (basic to advanced depending on level)
- Understanding of MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, public health)
- Awareness of BIM processes and model coordination workflows
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 principles and structured data environments
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
Desirable (not essential):
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360
- Clash detection/federation workflows
- IFC and COBie export knowledge
- Dynamo or BIM automation (Senior level)
- Point Cloud experience
