A leading Tier One Main Contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Design Manager to manage several flagship projects in Central London. These technically challenging schemes involve delivering state-of-the-art laboratories and research facilities, with a strong emphasis on innovation, compliance, and coordination.

Your Role

As MEP Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) design elements through to delivery. You’ll be working closely with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure design intent, compliance, and programme alignment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead MEP design coordination across all disciplines and stakeholders Manage design workshops, technical submissions, and design reviews Ensure MEP design is aligned with programme, cost plan, and client brief Liaise with consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical issues Monitor design risks, compliance with Building Regulations, and change control Work closely with the site and project delivery teams during construction phase Maintain documentation and design tracker to support project reportingAbout You
