We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Merchandising Assistant to join a heritage menswear brand, supporting the merchandising team in the planning, analysis, and execution of seasonal collections. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in menswear, retail analytics, and product lifecycle management.

The successful candidate will help ensure the right product is available at the right time and in the right quantities across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Range Support

• Assist with building and maintaining seasonal product ranges within merchandising systems
• Support the development of range plans in line with brand strategy and sales targets
• Maintain accurate product information, pricing, and attributes across internal systems

Sales & Performance Analysis

• Monitor weekly sales performance and stock levels across retail and e-commerce channels
• Produce weekly and monthly trading reports
• Identify trends, best sellers, and slow-moving products to inform trading decisions

Stock Management

• Track stock intake and allocations across stores and online channels
• Assist with stock replenishment and transfers between locations
• Support markdown and promotional activity planning

Cross-Department Collaboration

• Work closely with Buying, Design, Production, and Retail teams
• Support the preparation of seasonal line sheets, product data, and launch materials
• Assist with product lifecycle tracking from development to sell-through

Administrative Support

• Maintain merchandising trackers, calendars, and product documentation
• Assist with preparing presentations for range reviews and trading meetings

Skills & Experience

• Degree or relevant experience in Fashion, Retail, Business, or a related field
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in menswear and an understanding of retail merchandising processes
