We are currently recruiting for experienced Metalworkers for our client based in the Gateshead area, this role is day shift working on a permanent contract.
Hours Monday to Thursday 0745-1600 and Friday 0745-1500 (38 hours per week) Salary is between £25,194.00-£28,652.00 depending on experience
Metalworker, successful candidate will have experience of: Sheet metalworking experience (mainly aluminium but also stainless steel & mild steel) MIG welding of aluminium sheet and light framework in both sheet & extruded sections from 1.5mm to 6.0mm Experience of general metalworking equipment such as brake press, guillotine, folding machine, drill press and bandsaw Experience of operating hand tools such as hand drill, angle grinder, belt sander and jigsaw Ability to read manufacturing drawings and work out cutting sizes for panel work Finishing to high standards through grinding and dressing, ready for painting
