Job Description

Global law firm | London | Market-leading private capital practice

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced funds Lawyer to join a leading international firm's London-based Private Funds team. The group advises fund managers across the full spectrum of private capital, including private equity, real estate, infrastructure, debt and credit, and emerging markets funds. Acting for many of the world's most prominent fund managers, the team supports clients through the full lifecycle of fund establishment, structuring, and operation, as well as advising on secondary transactions and co-investment arrangements.

Working as part of a large, well-resourced, and truly international group, you will be involved in every stage of the fund formation and fundraising process - from initial structuring and drafting offering documents to managing investor negotiations, subscription and closing processes, and advising on post-closing and operational matters. The role also includes exposure to secondary transactions, restructuring mandates, and advisory work for both fund managers and institutional investors.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in private fund formation, gained within a City or leading international firm. Excellent drafting skills, sound commercial judgement, and an ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional matters are essential. Experience collaborating with regulatory and tax specialists would be advantageous, as would familiarity with carried interest and co-investment structures.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most respected funds teams in the market. You will work alongside recognised leaders in the field, advising blue-chip clients on complex, often high-profile mandates. The firm offers exceptional professional development, a collaborative and inclusive culture, and access to first-rate training and career progression within a global network.

The firm promotes a hybrid working model and is committed to fostering an environment that values diversity, inclusion, and equality of opportunity across all levels.
