MIG/TIG Welder

based in

Leicester

• Friday: 07:00–13:00 Rates of Pay • £18.00 - £19.00 per hour (depending on experience) Benefits • On-site car park

• Opportunity to progress your career Day-to-Day Duties • Perform MIG and TIG welding operations on various metal components

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and welding specifications

• Set up welding equipment and ensure correct settings for each job

• Assemble and fabricate metal parts using welding techniques

• Carry out quality inspections to ensure welds meet required standards

• Maintain a clean and safe working area

• Use hand tools and workshop equipment

• Understand plans and job requirements

• Prepare and cut required shapes and weld to structured plans

• Operate welding units and related equipment Essential Skills • Physically fit (heavy lifting may be involved)

• Ability to understand engineering drawings

• Good level of spoken and written English

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Minimum 6 month's experience in MIG and TIG welding

• Must live local to the area
