Mig Welder & Fabricator – Permanent Opportunity

Location: Brierley Hill, Dudley.

Poolhall Recruitment is partnered with a well-established manufacturing client to recruit an experienced MIG Welder who can fabricate from engineering drawings. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong MIG welding and fabrication background, particularly in products such as gates, fences, bollards, and posts.

Our client is an experienced fabricator of bespoke secondary steelwork, including gates, railings, ladders, and mild steel flooring. They have a full order book and are looking to expand their skilled workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

* MIG welding and fabrication of steel products, including gates, fences, bollards, and posts, from engineering drawings.

* Reading and interpret technical drawings to create precise fabrications.

* Maintaining a high standard of work and ensure quality control throughout the process.

* Upholding a clean and safe working environment.

Essential Experience:

* Proven experience in MIG welding and fabrication to a high standard.

* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.

* Multi-layer weld up to 15mm on 30mm plate

* High-quality work ethic with attention to detail.

* Ability to work well as part of a team.

* Commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.

Job Type:
This is a full-time, permanent position with an initial 12-week temp-to-perm probation period. Upon successful completion, you will transition into a permanent role.
