MIG Welder & Fabricator\n\nPosition: MIG Welder & Fabricator\nLocation: Tyseley\nHours:\n\nMonday -Thursday: 07:00-15:30\nFriday: 07:00-13:00 (Early finish)\nPay: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour + Overtime\nBenefits: Excellent company benefits package \nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking a skilled MIG Welder & Fabricator to join our growing production team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with fabrication machinery and will be confident operating tools such as laser cutting machines, press brakes, and other workshop equipment.\n\nThis role involves producing high‑quality fabricated components, working from technical drawings, and maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.\n\nYour duties as a MIG Welder will include:\n\nPerform MIG welding on a variety of materials to a high standard\nOperate laser cutting machinery to produce accurate parts\nUse press brake machines to form and bend sheet metal components\nRead and interpret technical engineering drawings\nCarry out fabrication tasks including cutting, drilling, grinding, and assembly\nInspect finished work to ensure accuracy and quality\nMaintain a clean and safe working environment\nWork effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines\nAlways follow company Health & Safety procedures \nTo be successful in the role of a MIG Welder, you will need:\n\nProven experience as a MIG Welder & Fabricator\nAbility to operate laser cutters and press brakes\nStrong understanding of fabrication processes\nAbility to read and work from engineering/technical drawings\nGood hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nCommitment to high standards of workmanship and safetyBenefits\n\nCompetitive hourly rate: £14.00 per hour\nOvertime opportunities available\nEarly Friday finish at 13:00\nGreat company benefits including [holiday allowance, pension, training. \n\nIf you are an experienced MIG Welder, please apply now and one of our consultants will give you a call.\n\nASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
