Daventry | £16.12 per hour | Monday-Friday | 8am-4pm | Permanent

Are you an experienced MIG Welder looking for a stable, full-time role with early finishes and excellent benefits?
\n
We're recruiting for a skilled MIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturing business in Daventry. Working within a final assembly environment, you'll be responsible for manufacturing parts and assemblies to precise production and quality standards, playing a key role in maintaining output and supporting continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing:
\n
\n Carry out MIG welding to manufacture parts and assemblies in line with production schedules \n
Work with TIG welding equipment where required (training/support available if needed) \n
Prepare and set up welding tools and equipment \n
Prepare parts for welding using machinery such as saws and sizers \n
Manufacture components using jigs, fixtures, SOPs, and works orders \n
Collaborate closely with the Quality team to maintain product and process standards \n
Support works order tracking through shop floor data capture and ERP systems \n
Operate tube manipulation and fabrication equipment (after training) \n
Inspect finished assemblies for accuracy and report any issues \n
Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures \n
Support the development of new components when required \n

What we're looking for:

\n Proven MIG welding experience (essential) \n
Experience with or willingness to carry out TIG welding \n
Background in a production or manufacturing environment \n
Excellent attention to detail and quality standards \n
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision \n
Strong commitment to health & safety \n
Reliable, proactive, and team-focused approach \n
