Job Title: MIG Welder

Location: Commutable from Markfield, Coalville, Loughborough

Salary: Up to £15.50 per hour

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4pm to 2am

Must be able to drive due to location

The MIG Welder Role:

As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated components while ensuring accuracy and consistency in your work.

Key Responsibilities:

• MIG welding mild steel components
• Fabricating and assembling parts to specification
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Measuring and preparing materials for production
• Setting up welding equipment based on job requirements
• Fettling and grinding sheet metal
• Conducting quality checks on your own work
• Identifying and reporting any issues or defects
• Handling tools and materials safely and efficiently

About You:

• 1+ years' experience as a Welder
• Read blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
• Set up components for welding according to specifications knowledge of using measuring equipment to quality check work.
• Fettling and grinding sheet metal work.
• Quality check finished products.
