Role : MIG Welding role
Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk
Working hours: Monday to Friday – Full time hours
Capacity of role: Temporary to permanent position
Pay Rate: Up to £16.00 per hour
Our client is currently recruiting for welders to join their workshop based team. Candidates will need to be proficient with MIG welding practices
Main duties will include:
Prepare machinery for the MIG welding process
Set up, operate and maintain welding equipment
Communication liaison with engineers and other team members
Perform routine checks and maintenance on welding equipment
Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors
Candidate attributes –
Previous welding experience
Ability to use various hand and power tools
Good communication skills
Happy to work overtime as and when required.
