What You’ll Be Doing This is a hands-on, skilled role where your expertise will make a real impact. You will: * Set and operate robotic welding machinery, adjusting machine controls as required * Supervise a small team of welders to ensure consistency of quality across the team. * Monitoring H&S across the team, ensuring all team members comply with regulations. * Ensure all team members have the correct PPE to undertake their job. * Distribution of workload fairly across the team. * Read and interpret engineering drawings with precision * Perform MIG, TIG and Aluminium welding to a consistently high standard * Fabricate components using sound mechanical knowledge and hand tools * Follow production instructions and quality requirements carefully * Attend and contribute to daily production meetings * Ensure all work meets exacting quality standards What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a motivated, reliable welder who thrives in a team-focused environment and takes ownership of their work. Someone who is an established Team Leader within a Welding Department with a positive, motivational attitude. You’ll ideally have: * Experience working with robotic welding machines * Strong MIG, TIG & Aluminium welding skills * The ability to read engineering drawings confidently * Coded welding certification (advantageous but not essential) * Strong organisational and problem-solving skills * A proactive, positive attitude * A team-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and customer standards Flexibility to cover alternative shifts during holidays or sickness would also be beneficial.
