The duties and responsibilities of a Planning Engineer (Mining) will include but not be limited to: Designs and implements shaft sinking with mechanised SBR technology. To produce construction methods based on design. To have excellent / outstanding CAD experience and to be able to produce drawings and alterations etc to designs. Maintains high level expertise in shaft sinking or mining sector. Develops solutions to engineering and other field related issues that arise from the execution of project installation activities. Provide timely and complete resolution to technical questions and requests for information. Maintain Project As-Built drawings. Ensures compliance with job specifications. Health and Safety: Having the authority and responsibility to stop and correct, to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Following Company health and safety standards and reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to Supervisor • Responsible for the use and maintenance of all safety equipment, i.e. Lanyards, warning signs and labeling, according to company rules and applicable legislation.
