Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Minibus Driver to join our school transport team in South London. The role involves transporting children with special educational needs (SEN) safely to and from school. You will ensure a supportive, professional, and caring environment while maintaining the highest standards of safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive a company minibus on scheduled school runs.
Safely transport children with special needs between home and school.
Ensure the wellbeing and comfort of all passengers during journeys.
Work closely with passenger assistants to support children as required.
Carry out vehicle safety checks before each journey.
Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and company policies at all times.
Maintain accurate records as required (mileage, incident reports, etc.).
Requirements:
Must hold a valid UK driving licence (D1 entitlement preferred).
Enhanced DBS certificate with no convictions (essential).
Previous experience working with children or vulnerable groups is desirable.
Good communication skills and a caring, patient nature.
Punctual, reliable, and committed to providing a safe service.
Hours:

Monday Friday (Split Shifts)
Morning: 7:00 9:00am
Afternoon: 2:00 6:00pm
6 Hours Minimum Pay for each duty(30 hours over 5 days)
