Responsibilities

  • Advise on business restructuring, HMRC tax clearances, tax planning and financial and tax modelling
  • Interpret and advise on technical tax matters in a pragmatic and practical way
  • Support colleagues on advisory projects and develop junior members of the team as they progress into this type of work
  • Keep the team updated on relevant changes in tax law., Profit share scheme

Qualifications

  • You are ACA/ACCA and ATT/CTA qualified
  • You have a sound understanding of accounting principles and their interaction with tax advisory
  • You have a broad technical knowledge across all taxes, in particular income tax, corporation tax and capital gains tax. An understanding of VAT, stamp duty and SDLT would be desirable
  • You have a keen interest in researching and understanding technical tax issues.
  • Knowledge of international tax issues is desirable but not essential.
