Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer\nHead Office Location: Telford, Shropshire (this position is a mobile role covering the West Midlands)\n\nSalary: Up to £48,000 per annum\n\nContract: The role is being offered as a full time, permanent PAYE position.\n\nOur client is a successful and fast-growing Facilities Management and MEP Projects company operating across the UK. With a strong track record in delivering Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects ranging in value from £1 million to £10 million, they offer innovative, high-quality solutions to clients in the industrial, commercial, and educational sectors.\n\nAs part of their continued growth, our client are now seeking an experienced and proactive Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a company that values quality, collaboration, and professional development.\n\nRole Overview: Our client are Facilities Maintenance Contractors, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance with commercial and retail clients across the UK.

We are recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join an existing maintenance team/ Please note this is a Mobile Maintenance role.\n\nIn addition to gas works, the successful candidate will also be expected to carry out a range of plumbing maintenance work. Working within this maintenance team provides exciting opportunities to use a wide range of skills each day, in new and challenging environments.\n\nOur client's customers include Marstons, Mitchells and Butlers, Whitbread, and many others in sectors such as: Hospitality, Care, Leisure & more. If you desire to be part of a growing company, where you can continue to develop your skills and build a fulfilling career - then we would love to hear from you.\n\nThe role will require work experience in the following areas:\n\n * Boiler Servicing & Maintenance in a commercial industry\n\n * Boiler Replacements\n\n * Heating Controls\n\n * Plumbing\n\nTo apply, applicants must have:\n\n * Core Domestic Gas Safety CCN1\n\n * Core Commercial Gas Safety COCN 1\n\n * A full manual driving license with no more than 3 points\n\n * Previous experience operating in a similar role.\n\n * The ability to work on their own and use initiative in problem solving\n\n * The ability to interact with clients professionally and with strong communication\n\n * Catering Core CCCN1\n\n * LPG\n\n * HVAC/ FGAS\n\n * General Building Maintenance\n\nQualities our client are looking for:\n\n * Team players with strong communication skills\n\n * A desire to learn and further your career long term\n\n * Values of honestly and reliability\n\n * Competent all-rounder with a range of skills.\n\nTravel, Assets & Further information:\n\n * This is a mobile maintenance position and therefore whilst our client aims to keep each Engineer as near to home as possible, travel throughout your region is expected up to 2 hours.

Further travel may be requested on rare occasions due to absences / emergencies.\n\n * On call Rota, Monday – Monday.
