Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Glasgow – Edinburgh Corridor £42,000 Salary Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm No Call-Out Permanent Position
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to cover a portfolio of retail sites and nursery locations between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
This role involves carrying out electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
This is a mobile role, travelling between locations across the central belt.
Responsibilities

Electrical PPM and reactive maintenance

Fault finding and repairs to electrical systems

General building maintenance tasks
*
Minor fabric repairs and upkeep
*
Basic plumbing works (taps, toilets, minor leaks)
*
Maintaining accurate job reports and service records
*
Working closely with site teams and management
*
Ensuring all works meet safety and compliance standards
Requirements
*
Qualified Electrician (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) preferred
*
Experience within commercial, retail or facilities maintenance
