Job Description Mobile Electrical Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Office – M4 Corridor – Up to £43,000 + Package
Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider operating across the M4 Corridor, covering sites including Thatcham, Oxford, Basingstoke, and Reading. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work across a portfolio of 6–7 commercial office sites, delivering both planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
The successful candidate will be electrically qualified with a strong background in facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building services. This role is ideal for a multi-skilled engineer looking for stability, training, and long-term career progression.
In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £43,000, overtime opportunities, and further training with a clear route for progression.
Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday

08:00 am – 17:00 pm

Call-out: TBC
\n
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
\n
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites
\n
Perform electrical maintenance including lighting installations, fault-finding, lamping, and ballast changes
\n
Conduct emergency lighting testing and maintenance
\n
Monitor and maintain control panels and BMS systems (hot & cold checks)
\n
Carry out general M&E and fabric maintenance across sites
\n
Maintain and update logbooks and ensure compliance documentation is completed
\n
Perform basic plumbing tasks including unblocking toilets
\n
Maintain pumps, motors, chillers, and pressurisation units
\n
Proactively identify faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner
\n
Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
\n
Maintain strong communication with clients and site teams
\n
Escort and manage specialist subcontractors on site
\n
Package:

Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum

Requirements:
\n
Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 \n
\n
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential)
\n
Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
\n
Multi-skilled with a good understanding of building services
\n
Strong communication and client-facing skills
\n
Must be able to provide trade certificates
\n
