Mobile Fabric Plumber Client Direct - Retail / Warehouse Facilities Wales / Midlands £30,000 to £35,000
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Mobile Fabric Plumber to join a well-established, fast-growing private self-storage provider with a strong presence across South Wales and the Midlands. Youll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across self-storage facilities, office complexes, and retail parades throughout the UK. No two days will be the same, making this an ideal role for a multi-skilled tradesperson who enjoys independent working and variety.
Duties:
  • General Building Maintenance: Roofing, cladding, repairs, and fabric maintenance
  • Plumbing: Repairs, maintenance, and general installations
  • Joinery & Carpentry: Repairs, fittings, furniture assembly, and removals
  • Internal Works: Tiling, painting & decorating, carpeting
  • External Works: Paving, drainage works, grounds maintenance, site clearance, pressure washing
  • Operational Support: Liaising with site teams to minimise disruption and ensure smooth operations
  • Record Keeping: Using IT systems to log completed works and associated expenditure
  • Health & Safety: Conducting point-of-work risk assessments and maintaining compliance with procedures

Working Pattern:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:00 16:30
  • 40 hours per week

Package:
  • £30,000 £35,000 Salary
  • Company Vehicle or Fuel Allowance (40p per mile)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a building trade or property maintenance role
  • NVQ Level 2 / 3 in Plumbing and Heating
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet KPI/SLA deadlines
  • Competent in using IT systems for job logging
  • Good understanding of health & safety procedures
  • Strong communication skills
