Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
The Commercial Gas Engineer will be responsible for:
* Undertaking maintenance and repair of gas plant across a variety of properties, including schools, libraries, and care homes, as required under contract.
* Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks to the required legislative standards.
* Ensuring all certification, paperwork, and reporting is accurately completed and submitted within required timescales.
* Participating in the on-call rota, where applicable.
* Monitoring visiting sub-contractors with regards to work quality and Health & Safety compliance.
* Issuing appropriate permits, controlling small works, and escort duties as required.
* Identifying and implementing remedial works as necessary.
* Maintaining, testing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment such as boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power, and lighting (where applicable).
