to join a facilities management team in the West Midlands. This is a mobile role where you will travel across the region working in secure government sites. The successful

role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to commercial gas and mechanical systems, ensuring the sites remain safe, compliant and fully operational. The position involves 39 hours per week (8am
5pm), across 7 days, including a 1 in 3 weekend shift pattern: Week 1 - Monday to Friday with the weekend off Week 2 - Monday Rest Day, Tuesday to Sunday working Week 3 - Monday to Thursday working with Fri, Sat and Sunday off There may also be participation in an on-call rota, with additional allowance and optional overtime available. Requirements: Gas Safe registered with commercial qualifications, including: CODNCO1
Core Domestic to Non-Domestic Changeover. CIGA1
Commercial Indirect Fired Heating Appliances. ICPN1
Installation of Commercial Gas Pipework. TPCP1 / TPCP1A
Testing & Purging of Commercial Gas Pipework. NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering (advantageous, particularly for water systems). Willingness to train and progress into Gas & Mechanical Authorised Person (AP) / Responsible Person (RP) duties. Proven experience maintaining commercial gas plant, including high-efficiency condensing boilers, forced draught burners, direct-fired water heaters and radiant tube heating systems. Strong technical knowledge of combustion control systems, ventilation interlocks, and pressure regulation. Legionella awareness and an understanding of water system compliance. Comfortable working at heights and across multiple plant environments. Mobile Gas Engineer/Plumber
