Mobile HGV Technician Job Description
B3 is seeking a skilled and experienced mobile HGV Technician to help them grow their family run business. The ideal candidate will possess excellent mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various HGV repair and maintenance tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and efficiency of fleet vehicles contributing to the overall success of the company. Whilst the company is based in Aylesbury, B3 operates across a wide geographical area.
Duties
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment and techniques.
MOT preparation and PMIs on site when required
Assemble, fabricate, and maintain vehicle components as required.
Perform electrical repairs, including wiring tasks.
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and equipment repair techniques to complete tasks safely yet efficiently.
Maintain records of work completed, outstanding and the parts used, ensuring these are completed accurately and available promptly.
