Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – London – 43 – 48K

I am currently representing an excellent mechanical company who are in need of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a growing team within London. The position is due to sheer growth within the company who provide projects, service & maintenance contracts to a variety of gas, A/C, heating and mechanical services to high end commercial & residential clients.

You will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repair, and emergency breakdown support of mechanical, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across a diverse commercial portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs on AHUs, and FCUs, Fans, pumps, motors, HVAC assets.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on a wide range of mechanical and air conditioning equipment.
Ensure all records and site logbooks are updated accurately and remain compliant with current legislation.
Liaise with clients and site managers to provide technical advice and updates on works.
Utilise mobile PDA software to receive, update, and close out work orders in real-time.
Participate in the company’s emergency out-of-hours call-out rota.

PACKAGE:

salaries from 43K – 48K
Van & fuel card (with private use)
Overtime – 1.5 in week & Saturdays, X2 on Sundays & bank
Call out rota 1 in 10 - 150-pound standby – 50 pound extra for call and minimum of 4 hours
Travel paid after half hour EW
24 days holiday + bank
