Mobile Supervisor – Building Services (M&E)


Location: London


Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + Van & Fuel Card


Hours: Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week

Alice Rose Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Mobile Supervisor to join a leading Building Services Maintenance provider, overseeing a portfolio of commercial sites across London.


This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of 9 mobile engineers, supporting planned and reactive maintenance across multiple high-profile office environments. You’ll act as the key point of contact for both clients and engineers, ensuring all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.


Mobile Supervisor Key Responsibilities


Supervise and support a team of mobile engineers across London

Carry out site audits, snagging, and quality assurance of all technical activity

Review and update asset lists and technical documentation for new and existing contracts

Liaise with subcontractors to obtain accurate and competitive quotations

Assist in preparing and submitting extra works quotations in line with company guidelines

Support compliance through CAFM systems, ensuring KPI targets are met

Work with technical dashboards, energy reporting, and BMS platforms to identify and resolve issues

Collaborate with Contract Delivery Managers to ensure operational excellence

Review O&M files and technical drawings to understand building systems and support engineering teams

Mobile Supervisor Requirements


Recognised Electrical or Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent

City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline

18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (17th Edition with willingness to upgrade considered)

Proven supervisory or lead engineer experience within Building Services

Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills

Strong IT and report writing abilities

Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment

£50,000 – £55,000 basic salary

Company van + fuel card

Overtime rates: x1.5 weekdays / x2 weekends20 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 25 after 1 year) Uniform, tools, and ongoing training provided
