We are recruiting for the position of Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester on behalf of our client, a well-established independent garage located on the outskirts of Southampton. Duties:
Conduct servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and MOT testing on all vehicle makes and models
Perform MOT testing in compliance with current regulations
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern tools and diagnostic equipment
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of quality and safety
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and technological advancements
Complete repairs and testing efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
Specification:
NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent qualification
MOT Tester qualification (essential)
Experience with diagnostics and fault diagnosis
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong team player with a positive attitude and professional approach
Experience within the motor trade, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, is highly desirable
