Freeway Autos is a well established, thriving, independent MOT & Service Station offering services including:

- Servicing

- Brakes

We require a fully qualified skilled vehicle technician. This position would suit an experienced individual, who would work well as part of a fast paced, friendly team.

_*About the role*_

- Servicing and maintaining all makes and models of both car and light commercial vehicles

- Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components, to diagnose issues accurately using diagnostic equipment

- Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and resolving defects

- Delivering a seamless service to our customer base

- Keeping a clean working environment, maintaining equipment and making sure tools are in good condition

- Your working hours - Monday through Friday 08.30 - 17.30

_*About you*_

- A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 and solid work experience in the automotive industry

- The ability to work in a competent and efficient manner, both on your own and as part of a busy team

- Strong communication skills

- Good attention to detail and ability to work in a clean manner, showing respect for customers vehicles

- A proactive and enthusiastic approach

- The ability to accurately follow written and spoken instructions

- The ability to carry out work to a high standard, as well as meeting deadlines

- A full UK driving licence

- Your own full set of tools

- MOT testing license preferred but not essential
