Do you have Supply Chain/MRP experience? Are you detail orientated with robust PC skills? If so this role will be just what you're looking for.I am currently recruiting for an MRP Controller to work on a temporary contract for 12 months, with the potentialto be extended further. This is a full time 37 hour working week from Monday to Friday. This will be working onsite at a leading helicopter manufacturer based in Yeovil, Somerset.The purpose of this role is to maintain a world class scheduling system to ensure business objectives are met. The successful applicant will manage and procure contracted parts via Purchase Orders ensuring best price, lead time and quantity.The job will involve:Amend / update Operative Networks and schedule requirementsUnderguidance, amend / update SAP Material Master DataAllocate components to ensure best use of company assets in support of all programme objectivesProcess Purchase Orders for Range Managed parts and Offload OrdersPlace Production Orders for in house manufactured partsProcess and control Service Management OrdersProcure parts from interplant suppliersTo run MRP reporting tools and act upon the data outcomesTo expedite Material Supply ManagementTo monitor and expedite mod kit and repair list shortagesTo provide kits and shop support to onsite and offsite modification and repair embodimentsTo provide kit forecasts to internal customersTo take part in Business Improvement as necessary and carry out improvement activityTake a proactive approach to personal developmentThe ideal candidate will have:Supply chain/MRP awarenessBe keen to learnDetail orientatedPC proficientSAP knowledge is preferredMeridian Business Support is a recruitment specialist acting on behalf of our client as an Employment Business for this vacancy.JBRP1_UKTJ
