Job Description

A leading Tier One consultancy is seeking an experienced Microsoft Purview DLP Specialist to support a major security and compliance programme within a global banking client.

This role will play a critical part in strengthening data protection controls and enhancing the organisation’s DLP capability across the end customer's security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, implement, and manage Microsoft Purview DLP policies across the organisation. Oversee the full lifecycle of DLP policies, including creation, deployment, monitoring, optimisation, and governance. Work closely with Entra ID (Azure AD) and Windows OS teams to ensure seamless integration of security and compliance requirements. Design and implement automation to streamline DLP policy management, enforcement, and reporting. Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure all regulatory and compliance obligations are met within a financial services environment.

Key Skills & Experience

Deep expertise in Microsoft Purview DLP, including policy management and lifecycle administration. Proven track record implementing and managing DLP controls across Windows endpoints. Strong hands-on experience with Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and core Windows OS environments. Demonstrable experience building automation workflows for Purview DLP policy operations. Background in financial services or other highly regulated industries (highly desirable).
