Job Overview The vacant post is for an International Training Fellowship in Anaesthesia & Critical Care medicine and is approved by the Post Graduate Dean under the Medical Training Initiative (MTI) scheme. Responsibilities
Phase induction into clinical work. Attend regular training sessions across a broad spectrum of specialities in line with the individual training plan. Participate on a 1:8 on‑call rota (12‑hour full shift) for intensive care unit and Anaesthesia at University Hospital of North Tees. Work an average of 48 hours per week, complying with EWTD regulations. Allocate a minimum of 3 teaching clinical sessions in operating theatres and/or intensive care unit with clinical supervisors each week. Adhere to all Trust infection prevention and control policies, including hand hygiene, personal hygiene, environmental and food hygiene. Undertake annual training and updates on infection prevention and control. Prepare for and undertake protective interventions consistent with evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
