The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting fortwo Multi Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineersto join a well-established and growing manufacturing business in commutable from Wolverhampton, Walsall, Birmingham and Surrounding areas.

Due to continued investment and expansion, the company is looking to strengthen its engineering team with:

  • 1 x Maintenance Engineer on Days

  • 1 x Maintenance Engineer on Nights

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where engineering plays a critical role in keeping production running efficiently and reliably.

The Role

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site

  • Fault-finding on electrical and mechanical systems

  • Maintaining high-speed production and packaging machinery

  • Working on conveyors, motors, drives, sensors, pneumatics, and hydraulics

  • Assisting with continuous improvement and reliability projects

  • Supporting breakdowns to minimise downtime

  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures

  • Completing maintenance logs and documentation

This is a hands-on role in a busy manufacturing environment where quick thinking and strong fault-finding skills are essential.

What Were Looking For

To be considered for these positions, you will need:

  • Experience as a Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

  • Ability to read electrical drawings and diagnose faults

  • Experience working with automated machinery and production lines

  • Knowledge of PLC fault-finding (advantageous)

  • Experience with conveyors, packaging machinery, motors, and control systems

  • A proactive, problem-solving approach

  • The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Ideally you will hold one or more of the following:

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification

  • Apprenticeship trained

  • Relevant engineering certifications
